Ashton Hall's Morning Routine
Where it came from
A March 2025 video from fitness influencer Ashton Hall walking through his daily morning routine, which begins at 3:52am. It blew up almost immediately once people clocked how unhinged the steps were.
The clock says 3:52am. Ashton Hall peels the tape off his mouth, does some push-ups, and then gets to the real stuff: dunking his entire face into a bowl of ice water made with bottled Saratoga, and rubbing a banana peel all over his face. Every step is timestamped like a luxury skincare ad. The joke is that this is presented completely straight, as aspirational, and it is instead one of the most deranged things ever filmed.
It became the spring 2025 grindset-routine punching bag. People used it as a template — quote-tweeting it with their own "5:00am: hit snooze, 11:30am: cry" routines, or splicing the Saratoga face-dunk into clips where it had no business being. The bottled-water detail did a lot of the lifting; "pouring Saratoga over your face" turned into shorthand for performative rich-guy wellness. Even the water brand got dragged into the discourse.
It was a single-video moment, not a format with legs, so it burned bright and started fading fast. By now it's the kind of thing people reference more than they actually post — you'll get the banana-peel callback in a reply, but the wave is over. Classic case of a meme that was everywhere for six weeks and then quietly became a 2025 time capsule.
