Batman Slapping Robin

Where it came from
A panel from a 1965 DC comic where Batman slaps Robin mid-sentence. The frame was clean, the slap was decisive, and by the late 2000s the internet was editing in new dialogue.
Robin starts to say something. Batman slaps him before he can finish. That's the whole setup — you replace the speech bubbles so Robin says something dumb or wrong and Batman cuts him off with a slap. "Well actually, technically a tomato is —" SLAP.
The format lets you shut down any bad take instantly. Robin represents whoever's talking nonsense, Batman represents your inability to tolerate it for one more second. The 1965 art style makes it feel weirdly formal — like the slap has been professionally administered.
Still used, though less than in its 2012–2016 heyday. A certified classic that people reach for when someone's about to say something unforgivable.
