c'mon do something

Where it came from
Started around 2006-2007 on 4chan, but became hugely popular on TikTok in 2020 when the trend exploded with people using the simple stick figure drawing in videos.
So basically it's just this super simple stick figure drawing of a guy—like, REALLY minimalist—that became a whole meme format. The joke is that it's so absurdly crude and goofy-looking that people started using it ironically, especially in videos where someone would be doing something normal and then suddenly you'd see this weird stick bug creature pop up out of nowhere, usually with the song 'When the Imposter is Sus' playing. It's peak absurdist humor, honestly. The meme blew up on TikTok where people would jump into their friends' videos as the stick bug, or edit it into random moments to throw people off. It's chaotic and pointless in the best way possible.
