I Bet He's Thinking About Other Women

Where it came from
A two-panel image of a couple in bed: the woman awake and worrying, thinking "I bet he's thinking about other women", and the man thinking about something completely different — usually something absurd or random. Became a meme around 2018.
A woman lies awake at night, glaring at her oblivious partner's head, thinking "I bet he's thinking about other women". The man's thought bubble shows what he's actually thinking about, which is always something completely unrelated and usually very dumb — a half-remembered cartoon, a food he's making up, the physics of dolphins.
The format is a gag on the gap between what people assume others are thinking and what's actually in their head. The woman's paranoia is always wrong, and the guy's actual thoughts are always weirder and more benign than anyone could guess. Classic "men are simple" shape, dressed up in a relatable-anxiety frame.
Still used regularly. Works in either direction — you can flip the genders, flip the topic, anything.
