Naoya Hair Flip
Where it came from
From Jujutsu Kaisen season 3, episode 2, which aired in Japan on January 9, 2026: Naoya Zenin fights Choso, goes one-handed, and uses the spare hand to flip his hair back mid-beatdown.
The whole joke is the hand. Naoya is already winning, already fighting one-armed, and he still decides the moment needs a hair flip. It's not a power move, it's a customer-service-voice level of condescension aimed at a guy who is actively losing.
Anime Twitter clocked it instantly. One post calling it the most disrespectful fight sequence pulled 7.2 million views in about a week, and from there it stopped being a JJK thing. Artists started redrawing the pose with whoever — Bocchi the Rock characters, Undertale reanimations, franchises with no business being in a Jujutsu Kaisen fight. The pose does all the work, so you can drop anyone into it.
That's why it stuck around past the usual two-week anime-meme lifespan. It's a reaction shot for any time you want to win rudely, and there's a redraw for basically every fandom by now.
