Trade Offer

Where it came from
A 2021 TikTok format featuring a man announcing "Trade offer: I receive X, you receive Y" in a deadpan businesslike tone. The still image version — the guy gesturing at two offset boxes — became a meme template later that year.
A guy gestures at two labeled boxes like he's presenting a business deal. The left box is "I receive", the right is "you receive". The joke is that the trade is either hilariously one-sided or a completely fair exchange that neither party wants. "I receive: your last Takis. You receive: a thoughtful forehead kiss."
It started on TikTok as a spoken-word format and then crossed over into static memes without losing anything. The guy's completely serious business-pitch face makes absurd offers feel strangely legitimate.
Still active. Relatively recent — late 2021 onwards — and hasn't had time to get stale.
